Not at all. People who asked for helped know when they need it and have the ability to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. You already have some strengths that you have used before, that for whatever reason isn’t working right now. Perhaps this problem feel overwhelming and is making it difficult to access your past strengths. In working together, I will help you identify what those strengths are and how to implement them again in what is happening now.
I want to get the most out of therapy. What can I do to help?
I am glad that you are dedicated to getting the most out of your sessions. Your active participation and dedication is crucial to your success. After all, we only see each other for a session a week. It’s the work that you do outside of the session that will really help you see personal growth and development.
What are the benefits from online therapy?
One of the most important benefits of online therapy which is also known as telehealth is its accessibility. You longer have boundaries to seeking counseling in the city where you reside. Allows you to connect with a therapist online widens your choices to find the best match for your needs. It is efficient, if you work full time chances are your tie is limited, with online therapy you can schedule on the go for a time that is convenient for you. Privacy and Confidentiality plays an important role as well. Online therapy providers uses HIPAA compliant platform to ensure confidentiality. Often time people do not seek therapy due to the stigma surrounding therapy, the scheduled appointment no to show up to the office. With online therapy that is no longer a factor.
